Bridging technical gaps before production
Incomplete drawings and undefined specifications enter production as undefined inputs. Dimensional non-conformances, incorrect material grades, and assembly interface failures are not identified until its to late.
.
Focus Engineering reviews all client-supplied drawings and specifications before pricing is issued. Dimensions, tolerances, material grades, surface treatments, and assembly interfaces are assessed. Where inputs are incomplete or contradictory, specific technical queries are raised and resolved before scope is confirmed. Nothing proceeds on undefined inputs.
Alignment and control of project deliverables
When inclusions, exclusions, tolerances, and delivery terms are not formally agreed before fabrication begins, scope misalignment can generate budget variations. Work that was assumed to be included generates additional cost claims. Changes that were never agreed become disputes. Programme pressure absorbs the difference.
Focus Engineering locks scope in a formal Offer Document before any work enters production. Every inclusion, exclusion, delivery term, and technical requirement is defined and agreed by both parties. Nothing enters production until the offer document is accepted.
Manage or eliminate project risks before they become a cost.
When fabricated and machined components are not inspected at each stage of production, weld non-conformances, dimensional deviations, and assembly interface failures travel to site undetected. The consequence is a site disruption, remobilisation cost, and programme recovery — all generated by a failure that existed before the component left the workshop.
Focus Engineering inspects at each production stage against confirmed drawings and tolerances. Material compliance is verified before entering production. Factory Acceptance Testing is conducted prior to dispatch where required. Non-conforming components do not leave the workshop.
